AP DSC 2018 SGT Model papers
AP DSC SGT 2019 Notification has released for filling up various vacancies Secondary Grade Teacher posts in all the schools under government and Municipal Association. To select the eligible and capable aspirants from all the applied candidates government of Andhra Pradesh is going to conduct a written Exam for SGT 2019 on May , 2019. Interested candidates who want to become a govt Teacher should apply online for DSC SGT 2019 from 3rd December 2018 to January 2019. Candidates should pay the examination fee through APONLINE or E- seva centers from 2nd December 2018 to January 2019.

Eligibility Criteria for DSC SGT 2019
Educational Qualification for SGT
Only the candidates who have two years Diploma in Education (D.Ed) along with 12th /intermediate or its equivalent from any college recognized by the Board of Intermediate are eligible for DSC SGT 2019. B.Ed candidates are not eligible for SGT TET cum TRT 2019. The candidates who are qualified earlier APTET are also need to apply for DSC SGT 2019 and they has to write written exam conducted by DSC in the month of May.
Age Limit for SGT
Candidates should age of 18 years to 40 years as on 01.07.2018. Age relaxation is applicable for government norms. SC/ST candidates the maximum age limit will 45 years and for PHC candidates age limit will 50 years.
Exam Pattern for DSC SGT 2019
The Written Test for DSC SGT 2019 will be conducted on 9th May 2019 for 180 marks with 3 hours (180 minutes) of duration. Each question carries 1 mark.
The DSC SGT 2019 Exam pattern – Exam paper contains six (6) sections i.e Section-1 for General Knowledge & Current Affairs with 10 questions, Section -2 for Child Development & Pedagogy with 30 questions, Section -3 for Language (opted by the candidate) with 35 questions, Section -4 for English Language with 35 questions, Section-5 for Mathematics (Content and Methodology) with 30 questions and Section- 6 for Environmental Science (Content & Methodology) which include Science and Social Studies with 40 questions.
We suggest that to get sound score candidate should give more importance to the sections which having highest marks. Sectional cut off will be there so, prepare well for all the sections.

DSC SGT 2019 vs DSC SGT 2012
To select the candidates DSC has given 20% weightage on APTET marks and remaining on DSC TERT exam till 2012, but now there is no TET exam from this year onwards DSC SGT 2019 exam pattern has changed slightly.
DSC SGT 2012 was conducted for 80 Marks with 160 questions but DSC SGT 2019 will be conducted for 180 marks with 180 questions.
In 2012, General Knowledge and Current affairs section has 20 questions for 10 marks, Perspectives in Education has 20 questions for 10 marks, but this year onwards it has 30 questions for 30 marks, Language opted and English each having 18 questions for 9 marks. In previous years, section -5 has content of Mathematics, Science and social studies with 54 questions for 27 marks and Section -6 has Methodologies on strategy papers with 30 questions for 15 marks, but this year Section-5 has Content & Methodology of Mathematics with 30 question for 30 marks and section -6 has Content & Methodology of Environmental Studies (Includes Science and Social Studies) with 40 questions for 40 marks.
