Tamil nadu public service commission (TNPSC) has announced many notifications this year. It has recruited many eligible candidates into various posts based on their performance in the selection process. This year recently the organisation has announced another notification for the recruitment of group 4 posts. The number of vacancies is Numerous. The posts included are junior assistant (security and non-security), bill collector (grade-I), typist, steno-typist (grade-III), field surveyor and draftsman. Large number of candidates has applied for this exam due to high number of vacancies. The TNPSC group 4 exam date was on December 2018.

TNPSC group iv exam pattern
- This is a objective type test.
- It consists of two types of papers.
- Paper 1 consists of General Studies (SSC Std) (75 Items) and Aptitude Test (25 Items) and General English (100 Items).
- Paper 2 consists of General Studies (75 items), Aptitude Test (25 items) and General Tamil (100 items).
- Candidates can choose either English or Tamil based on their interest but candidates have to attempt both general studies and aptitude compulsorily.
